1What is Bamboo Charcoal?
Bamboo charcoal is made from fast growing, sustainably harvested Moso bamboo through a kiln process known as "pyrolysis". This process removes all moisture and volatile compounds from the bamboo, leaving behind a unique carbon structure of millions of tiny holes and tubes that allow Bamboo charcoal to adsorb (not a typo) particles of moisture, pollutants and molds from the air. Adsorption is "the adhesion of atoms, ions or molecules from a gas, liquid or dissolved solid to a surface". Just 1 gram of of Moso bamboo has a surface area of over 500 square meters, about the same size as 2 tennis courts! This means a single 200 gram bag of Bambrēz has 25 acres of adsorbing power!
2What is inside a Bambrēz Air Purifying Bag?
Inside the colorful linen bag, you will find a white poly filter paper bag that contains 100% Moso Bamboo Charcoal! Unlike the complicated formations of chemical air fresheners, Bambrēz Bamboo Charcoal's strength is in its simplicity. Bambrēz does not introduce new particles into the air that simply mask odors, pollutants and molds. Bambrēz leaves your air fresh and pure, just like a high quality charcoal water filter removes toxins from your drinking water.
3How does Bambrez Air Purifying Bag work?
Bambrēz works through a process called "Adsorption; "the adhesion of atoms, ions or molecules from a gas, liquid or dissolved solid to a surface".
This means it operates passively, with no need for batteries, electric plugs or wires of any kind. Bambrēz moso bamboo charcoal air filter bags use a charcoal 10 times more porous than standard charcoal, so they adsorb more toxins and odors longer. When natural air movement flows through the bag, the toxins are attracted into the millions of tiny holes in the charcoal and adhere to the surfaces.
4How to make Bambrez air purifying bags last longer?
Bamboo charcoal is made of bamboo by means of a pyrolysis process. According to the types of raw material, bamboo charcoal can be classified as raw bamboo charcoal and bamboo briquette charcoal. Raw bamboo charcoal is made of bamboo plant parts such as culms, branches, and roots. Bamboo briquette charcoal is made of bamboo residue, for example, bamboo dust, saw powder etc., by compressing the residue into sticks of a certain shape and carbonizing the sticks. There are two equipment processes used in carbonization, one is a brick kiln process, and the other is a mechanical process.
5Why is the Air Purifying Bag safer than other air purifiers and air fresheners?
Unlike sprays and plug-in odor masking products, Bambrēz is made from 100% pure bamboo charcoal, an inert and safe material that introduces no scent or volatile chemicals to the air. VOC's are known carcinogens that can cause headaches, respiratory problems and even cancer. Not only that, but they don't actually remove any of the toxins in your air. They only mask them with another toxin! If clean, pure air is your goal, Bambrēz activated bamboo charcoal air purifying bags are the clear, clean, eco-friendly choice.
6How do I activate my Air Purifying Bag?
To "charge" your Bambrēz bamboo charcoal bag, we recommend placing it in direct out-door sunlight for 1-2 hours. The heat will charge the ions which will then increase the attraction of toxic pollutants in the air. We recommend re-charging your Bambrēz charcoal bags once a month to extend the life of Bambrēz up to 2 years depending on conditions. Areas of high moisture and toxins will require more frequent replacement to remain effective.
7Where should I use Bambrez?
Bambrēz activated bamboo charcoal air purifying bags can be placed anywhere odors, scents, toxins or molds are found in your indoor living spaces including kitchens, closets, pet spaces, baby and children nurseries, cars and automobiles, bathrooms, garages, laundry rooms etc.
8How big a room will Bambrez freshen?
each Bambrēz activated bamboo charcoal air purifying bag will effectively improve the air quality in a 100 square foot room under normal conditions. Higher concentrations of odor or toxins may require a second bag to be effective.
9How long will each Pandoo Air Purifying Bag last?
Bambrēz activated bamboo charcoal air purifying bags work by absorbing allergens, toxins and pollutants in the air which adhere to the walls of the microscopic pores in the moso bamboo charcoal. As time passes, these pores will fill up. This means it is time to place your Bambrēz bag in the sun. The UV rays from the sun will decompose and release the toxins from the charcoal so that your Bambrēz bag will perform better. After about 2 years of toxin buildup and repeated recharges, residues of toxins will be left in the pores making it less effective. We recommend replacement of Bambrēz at this time.
10What do I do with a Bambrez Bag after I’m finished using it?
Once your Bambrēz activated bamboo charcoal air purifying bag has been used, Bamboo charcoal is a great addition to your garden. After 1-2 years, open the bags with scissors and mix the charcoal with your garden soil to increase air and nutrient delivery to your plants.
